Refund Policy
Effective: June 16, 2026 · TradeAlert LLC, an Arizona limited liability company
1. General Policy
TradeAlert subscriptions are billed on a monthly recurring basis. All fees are charged in advance for the upcoming billing period. As a general rule, subscription fees are non-refundable for the current billing period once a charge has been processed.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, your access to TradeAlert alerts and Discord channel roles will continue through the end of the paid period for which you have already been charged. No further charges will be made after cancellation. We do not prorate or refund unused days remaining in a billing period.
2. Eligible Refunds
Refunds are issued only in the following circumstances:
- Billing errors and duplicate charges. If you were charged in error — for example, if you were billed twice for the same period or charged an incorrect amount — contact us within 7 days of the charge. We will investigate and issue a full refund for any confirmed billing error.
- Verified platform outage. If a verifiable TradeAlert platform outage prevented you from accessing the service for more than 48 consecutive hours within a single billing period, you may request a prorated service credit (not a cash refund) for the affected time. Credits are applied to future billing cycles and are issued at our sole discretion upon verification of the outage. Outages caused by third-party services (Discord, SMS carriers, email providers) or by your own connectivity or device issues do not qualify.
- Trial-end courtesy refund. If you enrolled in a free trial, forgot to cancel before the trial ended, and were subsequently charged, you may request a one-time courtesy refund within 48 hours of the charge by contacting support. This courtesy refund is issued at our sole discretion and is available only once per account. See Section 4 for full trial-period terms.
3. Non-Refundable Situations
The following situations are not eligible for a refund:
- Partial billing periods. We do not prorate or refund unused days remaining in a paid billing period, regardless of when you cancel.
- Signal performance. TradeAlert delivers automated technical signals. These signals are not financial advice and do not guarantee profitable outcomes. Dissatisfaction with signal results, trade outcomes, or strategy performance does not constitute grounds for a refund. Please review our Risk Disclosure before subscribing.
- Change of mind. Deciding you no longer wish to use the service, or subscribing without fully evaluating the service, is not a basis for a refund.
- Account deletion. If you delete your account, your subscription is cancelled immediately. You will not receive a prorated refund for any remaining days in the paid period.
- Third-party delivery failures. We are not responsible for alerts that were delayed or undelivered due to outages or policy changes at Discord, SMS carriers, or email providers. These are not considered TradeAlert platform outages.
- Plan downgrade price differences. If you downgrade to a lower-tier plan mid-period, no refund or credit is issued for the difference in price between your current plan and the new plan. The lower price applies starting at your next billing cycle.
4. Trial Periods
New Pro plan subscribers receive a 45-day free trial. The trial is limited to one per account and one per payment method. No charge is made during the trial period.
The trial period itself is non-refundable — there is nothing to refund for a period during which no charge was made. If you cancel before the trial ends, your access continues through the end of the trial at no cost; you will not be charged.
If you do not cancel before the trial ends and are charged for your first paid month, you may request a one-time courtesy refundwithin 48 hours of that charge by contacting support with the subject line “Refund Request” and your account email. This courtesy refund is available once per account, is not guaranteed, and is issued at our sole discretion. After 48 hours, the standard no-refund policy applies.
5. Plan Changes and Downgrades
Upgrades take effect immediately. You gain access to the higher-tier plan features right away. The price difference is not charged immediately — your upgraded plan price applies at your next billing cycle.
Downgrades are queued and take effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain your current plan features and ticker slots through the end of the period you have already paid for. No refund or credit is issued for the unused difference between your current plan price and the downgraded plan price.
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, send an email to support@tradealerthq.com with the subject line “Refund Request”. Include the following in your message:
- The email address associated with your TradeAlert account
- The date of the charge you are disputing
- A brief description of the issue
Requests submitted outside the applicable time window (7 days for billing errors; 48 hours for trial-end courtesy refunds) may not be eligible for consideration. Submit your request promptly to ensure it can be reviewed.
7. Processing Time
We aim to respond to all refund requests within 3 business days. If a refund is approved, it is processed through Stripe to the original payment method. Processing time after approval is typically 5–10 business days depending on your card issuer. Service credits (for eligible outage claims) are applied to your account and reflected on your next invoice.
